Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 cucumber thinly sliced
  • 2 slices of bread any type, toasted
  • 2 tablespoons cream of cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: Lemon juice for added flavor

Instructions

  • Toast the bread: Start by toasting your slices of bread until they’re golden brown and slightly crispy.
  • Prepare the avocado: Mash the ripe avocado in a bowl using a fork. Add salt and pepper to taste, and if you’d like, a squeeze of lemon juice for some extra flavor.
  • Spread the cream cheese: Spread a thin layer of cream cheese on one or both slices of the toasted bread.
  • Assemble the sandwich:
    Option 1: Spread the mashed avocado onto one slice of bread and the cream cheese on another slice and layer the thinly sliced cucumbers on top of the cream cheese. Place the two slices on top of each other to complete your sandwich.
    Option 2: Spread the cream cheese evenly on both slices of bread. On one slice, arrange the thinly sliced cucumbers on one half and the sliced avocado on the other half. Place the two slices on top of each other to complete your sandwich.
