Equipment

  • A Fork (to mash the boiled eggs)
  • A small bowl (for combining the ingredients)
  • A Spoon (to scoop the mayonnaise)
  • A Pot (to boil your eggs)
  • A Knife (optional, to cut the cucumber)

Ingredients

  • 2 slices 2 slices of bread white, whole wheat, or your choice
  • 2 boiled eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or as much as you need
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: thinly sliced or diced cucumbers for crunch
  • Optional: tuna for added protein

Instructions

  • Toast the bread: Toast both slices of bread to a light golden brown.
  • Boil the eggs: Boil the eggs for about 10 minutes, then cool them down and peel off the shell.
  • Mash the eggs: Use a fork to mash both the yolk and albumen (egg white) together in a bowl.
  • Mix with mayonnaise: Add 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise to the mashed eggs and stir well until everything is evenly coated.
  • Season: Add a pinch of salt and black pepper to taste, stirring them in.
  • Optional add-ins: For added flavor and crunch, mix in diced cucumbers, or spread thinly sliced cucumbers on the bread before adding the egg mixture.
  • Assemble the sandwich: Spread the egg and mayonnaise mixture evenly on one slice of toasted bread. Optionally, top with a second slice of toasted bread.
  • Optional: Add tuna to the egg mixture.
